All switchable remapping software for ByteFLASH is written in-house by our technical team as per your requirements, opening up a world of possibilities. A race map for the track? No problem — then switch to a high torque at low-rpm map for towing and then back to an economy remap for the daily commute to work? All possible with ByteFLASH switchable remapping.

How ByteFLASH Works

ByteFLASH Touch will be shipped to you without tuning files. You'll plug the unit into your car and read the stock software from the ECU, then send the file to us and we'll develop your custom programmes.

   Connect to Vehicle — Plug ByteFLASH Touch into your car's OBD2 diagnostic socket.

   Read ECU Software — ByteFLASH Touch copies your current ECU software onto its internal memory.

   Connect to PC — Plug ByteFLASH into your PC with the supplied USB cable.

   Send to Our Team — Download your 'Stock' file from ByteFLASH and email it to our tech guys.

   Receive Custom Files — Receive back your modified files and copy them back to ByteFLASH.

   Write to Vehicle — Plug ByteFLASH back into your car and select which tuning file you wish to use.

   Switch Anytime — Whenever you wish to switch between remaps or stock, simply plug ByteFLASH in.

What if I Don't Have a PC?

If you don't have a computer, you have two options. Either arrange to come and visit us — we'll set everything up for you and show you how to switch between remaps in your vehicle. Or plug ByteFLASH into your vehicle, read off the stock software and then post the device back to us. We'll set it all up for you with the tuning programmes of your choice and post it back to you free of charge.

What if I've Made Physical Modifications to My Car?

We can account for many physical modifications in software via ByteFLASH. All additional services listed are compatible with ByteFLASH touch. We can quite often account for other modifications too, such as different turbos. Drop us an email and we'll do our best to help.

Custom Written Files

We will custom write your chosen tuning files taking into account your exact requirements, in exactly the same way as a traditional remap. Any specific requirements such as EGR delete or speed limiter removal can be included in the file where supported at no additional cost. The modified files will be emailed back to you to copy onto the ByteFLASH Touch tuning tool before loading onto your car.
